Schooled In Victory
Schooled in Victory was formed in 2001 by Brandon Lott and Brad Boeck. After meeting and playing in the outfit Animated By Sound, both decided they wanted to continue writing music together. A fluke meeting at a practice space in downtown Kansas City introduced them to David Glenn White, who also had just retired from the fairly successful pop-punk band Mi6. The three wrote some quick tunes and had them recorded as a "demo ep"...

Soon after Brad decided he was going to Florida to learn how to turn knobs, check levels, and mix and record music at the acclaimed Full Sail. With Brad getting his education, David and Brandon recruited Quentin Schmidt, bass phenom, and the kid legend Justin Tricomi (already ruling The Storied Northwest). Several practices, practice spaces, and shows followed.

Schooled In Victory had not settled on a voice for this project and with busy schedules, new projects popping up...the band's need to document their recordings became evident. And so it was done - with still no voice to capture and balance the music that was now recorded. As fate would have it - another founding member of the mythical The Storied Northwest, Nick Cline, came to the rescue and layered the tracks with familiar bliss that seemed as if he had been there all along. Brad moved back just in time with his newfound knowledge to mix the album with Nick and complete what would end up being 'Snapshot Of An Era'. Fast forward two years...playing only a few shows with Nick on stage with the band, getting the cd mastered, packaged and shrinkwrapped, and ready to breathe new life into this group, like all things...came to an end.

Justin is currently doing big things with The Republic Tigers, Q is busy with Fairbanks and The Away Team, and Nick, Brandon and Brad are housing a recording studio (Normal.Productions) and writing/recording themselves. All good things come to an end.
